STREET PHOTOGRAPHY

“The photographer is an armed version of the solitary walker reconnoitering, stalking, cruising the urban inferno, the voyeuristic stroller who discovers the city as a landscape of voluptuous extremes. Adept of the joys of watching, connoisseur of empathy, the flâneur finds the world “picturesque”.” (Susan Sontag)

“One eye of the photographer looks wide open through the viewfinder, the other, the closed looks into his own soul.” (Henri Cartier-Bresson)
“Don’t shoot what it looks like. Shoot what it feels like.” (David Alan Harvey)

Born in 1976 and living in Luxembourg, my passion for photography has been around since I was a teenager. In line with the “photographer” described by Susan Sontag, I see myself as this stroller guided by colours, light, structures and people. My aspiration is to catch a glimpse of the urban soul. This is my personal website where I exhibit my favourite works.
